Clinton: 'It was wrong ... but it is private'

 

President Clinton admitted Monday night that he had a relationship with Monica Lewinsky that was "not appropriate," and that he had not been forthcoming about it. "I misled people, including even my wife. I deeply regret that," Clinton said in a speech that followed an afternoon of testimony to Independent Counsel Ken Starr and a federal grand jury.
